Anyone who oversees others is taking care of God’s most valuable possession, His people. The role of leader has four major responsibilities: to be a provider, protector, prophet, and priest. Scripture provides examples of each of these four roles, and shows how Jesus Christ gave us clear examples of them in his life and ministry.
