God has freely poured grace out upon us. We are both saved and forgiven by it. Once we receive God‘s grace and become His children, we have an obligation to Him, which He clearly states in His Word. The Bible spells out examples of our moral obligations to God and shows us how to fulfill them in our lives. Doing so is part of our obedience to God.
