God is light and in Him is no darkness. Jesus was a light to the world, and he taught that his followers were lights. Our sin nature and the systemization of error caused by Satan are constantly trying to block our light. Scripture helps us become aware of common ways we block our light, and encourages us to be clearly seen as the radiant light we are called to be.
